Major General Adel Al-Ghadhban, the governor of Port Said, said it was thanks to him that he won the prize for the best governor of the Arab world in the competition for the excellence of the Arab government, after the success of Almighty God, the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to him.
The award is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
“Al-Ghadban” added during a telephone interview to the “Egypt Can” program broadcast on the satellite channel “DMC”, that the Port Said Governorate has a privileged position connecting 3 main continents, which are Africa and Europe, and from East Asia, and is the only governorate that has two cities, one city. On the African continent and on the other on the Asian continent.
The Port Said governor added that in November 2015, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi explained the development of the Suez Canal axis in Port Said under the slogan “A Dream of a Ball”. This dream came true and it was a miracle on the land of Port Said, noting that Port Said has the largest fish farm in Egypt.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of Local Development, congratulated Major General Adel Ghadhban, Governor of Port Said, for choosing him as the best governor of the Arab world in the competition for excellence of the Arab government, which was held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Major General Mahmoud Sharawi said that Port Said Governorate has seen great development in all fields and sectors in recent years in light of the continued follow-up by Major General Adel Al-Ghadhban to implement a number of national projects and strategic aimed at achieving global development in the governorate and a better level of services for citizens.
Shaarawi stressed the interest of the political leadership and the follow-up of the prime minister on the dossier of improving government services provided to citizens in all governorates within the framework of the digital transformation system undertaken by the Egyptian state.
The Minister of Local Development commended all those responsible for the Government Excellence Award, which helped achieve a great leap in government performance in recent years, and strengthened the spirit of competition among the employees of the administrative apparatus of the State, in a way that helps provide the best services to Arab citizens.
Major General Mahmoud Sharawi called on all employees of the local administration and the general office of the ministry to dedication and sincerity in their work, to improve the level of services provided to citizens and to find innovative solutions to the problems facing citizens.
The Cabinet was headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, who extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winning Egyptian officials at the first session of the “Arab Government Excellence Award”,And which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, whose awards were announced virtually via “videoconferencing” technology, with the participation by Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States.
