LinkedIn has ranked the cryptocurrency wallet provider and data company Blockchain.com (formerly known as Blockchain.info) in its top ten most "sought after" UK employers in new listings on September 30th.

Part of a list of 25 startup companies based in the United Kingdom, Blockchain.com got the vote at number 9, while financial intermediaries took two of the three polling positions in the rankings.

Among its features, LinkedIn detects the "benefits like free food and flexible work" of Blockchain.com, an unlimited holiday policy and a bonus scheme for employees paid in Bitcoin (BTC).

Above social media, executives noted that the announcement coincided with a substantial wave of hires to support the company's current 110 employees.

Blockchain was not seen anywhere in the Top 25 list of 2017, however, LinkedIn has promoted Monzo banking innovator for both years, placing it among the top in the startup rankings.

The 2017 list seemed to focus more on the Fiat-related entities, including the TransferWise remittance service at number 12.

In addition to the UK, the most recent list of startups on LinkedIn in the United States published at the beginning of September has produced further good news for the cryptocurrency sector, with Coinbase, exchange operator and portfolio, which has entered first three positions.

Despite the conflicting views of the business within the industry itself, Coinbase has found considerable success with consumers, similarly strengthening the number of employees and making substantial hires for its legal team last month.
