The sixth most visited Web site in the world, Yahoo Finance, now offers cryptocurrency trading.
Yahoo.com announced last week that it initiated a partnership with the API developer Trade It to offer the functionality of cryptocurrency trading for users within Yahoo Finance.
Anthony Pompliano, prominent cryptocurrency figure and founder of Morgan Creek Digital, seems quite enthusiastic about the news:

Currently, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin are available for trading with suggestions that will be added Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic and EOS. Although the statistics for trading the three altcoins are shown, they are not listed on the platform at the moment.
Similarly, as with Yahoo Finance's stock trading function, which was launched last year, customers will be able to see "buy" and "sell" links on the quote page for each cryptocurrency individual. Once a customer has started negotiating a token, he can log in to an external account on platforms such as Coinbase or Robinhood and can complete the transaction without leaving the Yahoo platform.
According to Joanna Lambert, the general manager of the head of finance and technology at Yahoo's parent company, Oath, Yahoo.com is " the leading provider of financial data, insights and editorial content" and so " are constantly looking for ways to better serve the public on Yahoo Finance platform" .
Lambert also said:
" We launched our integration with Trade It a year ago, enabling people to operate on Yahoo Finance for the first time, and we are excited to extend this offer to cryptocurrencies, linking further our community of passionate investors with related utilities on our trusted platform. "
At the start of this year, there was news that Yahoo Japan was exploring the idea of a platform exchange with the acquisition of a significant portion of BitARG Exchange Tokyo and rumors were that the exchange would be launched in March next year.
