The new Peugeot e-Traveler arrives in January and already has prices

In line with the expectations of the national market and with the multiple uses of professionals and individuals, the new Peugeot e-Traveler is available in four trim levels dedicated to passenger transport and leisure activities: Business, Active, Allure and Business VIP.

For professional customers and specialists in passenger transport (taxis, touring vehicles with driver, hotels, airports, etc.), with Business (from 5 to 9 seats) and Business VIP (6 to 7 seats) set-ups.

Passengers are received in a luxurious environment, easy to access on board thanks to the sliding side doors, on both sides, motorized and with free hand. Privacy is ensured by tinted glass (70% opacity) and extra colored glass (90% opacity).

Depending on the version, passengers of rows 2 and 3 have independent sliding seats in leather with armrests or sliding seats divided into 2/3 – 1/3. A single command allows you to recline the seat and create a wide passage for the rear seats.

The VIP Business equipment level complements the well-being of the rear passengers with the lounge configuration with 4 independent and opposing seats or 5 seats, three-zone climate control with soft diffusion and blackened glass ceilings.

Targeted at private customers are the Active and Allure equipment levels. Available in configurations from 5 to 8 seats, these versions respond to different types of use, both for families and for lovers of leisure and sport, thanks to their multiple configurations of sliding and removable seats. This flexibility allows you to maximize interior space and enjoy ongoing comfort.

Children can take advantage of the top trays, in the 2nd row, and are protected thanks to the integrated umbrellas. Access to items in the trunk is facilitated by the opening rear window, very useful when there is not enough parking space to open the rear gate.

The new Peugeot e-Traveler is the first Peugeot electric vehicle to offer a double range in terms of range. Depending on the customer’s needs, lithium-ion batteries can have a capacity of 50 kWh (18 modules) or 75 kWh (27 modules).

The versions (Compact, Standard and Long) equipped with a 50 kWh battery, allow a maximum range of 230 km, in compliance with the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedures) homologation protocol.

The Standard and Long versions can also be equipped with a 75 kWh battery, guaranteeing a maximum range of 330 km, according to the same homologation protocol.

Connected to the internal thermal circuit, the thermoregulation of the battery allows fast recharging, optimized autonomy and longer battery life.

Two types of on-board chargers are available in response to all types of customer use and charging solutions: a standard 7.4 kW single-phase charger and, as an option, an 11 kW three-phase charger, a process that can be to achieve:

• in a public rapid charging station: the thermal regulation of the battery allows to use 100 kW chargers and to obtain 80% of the charge in 30 min (50 kWh battery) or 45 min (75 kWh battery);
• in Wall Box 7.4 kW: allows a complete recharge in 7h30 (50kWh battery) or 11h20 (75kWh battery) with the on-board single-phase battery charger (7.4kW);
• in Wall Box11 kW: allows a complete recharge in 5h (50kWh battery) or 7h30 (75kWh battery) with the three-phase on-board battery charger (11kW);
• in a standard socket (8A): for a full charge in 31h (50kWh battery) or 47h (75kWh battery);
• in a reinforced socket (16A): for a full charge in 15 hours (50 kWh battery) or 23 hours (75 kWh battery).

Delayed loading can be scheduled from the Connected Navigation screen or from the MyPeugeot smartphone app (depending on version). This system also allows you to start or postpone charging at any time, as well as check the state of charge.

It should be noted that the arrival of most of the 50 kWh versions of the new Peugeot e-Traveler will take place in January 2021, with the exception of the Compact body which will arrive the following month, as well as the variants equipped with 75 batteries. kWh.

Financing offers and tax breaks

With the intention of democratizing the new technology of electric vehicles and taking into account that the cost of a car is not limited to the selling price, PEUGEOT relies heavily on Easy Credit financing offers (covering all means, regardless of whether both a recovery) and Easy Rent, for private customers, and Free2Move Lease (all inclusive: maintenance, IUC, insurance, tires, replacement vehicle) for private and business customers.

As for the current tax breaks, customers will not only be able to benefit from the State Fund for the environment (note: limited, valid in 2020, according to the State Budget), but also from the payment of ISV and IUC; in the case of professional customers, they will be able to deduct VAT (note: only versions with a maximum PVP of € 62,500; see table below) and will be exempt from Autonomous Taxation.

It should be added that some municipalities grant the right to free parking or to a more accessible value to owners of electric cars in their areas of intervention.
