The new Peugeot 3008 and 5008 will arrive on the domestic market at the end of the year, but the French brand has already opened orders for the new generation of the two models and revealed the prices of the two ranges.
The new generations of Peugeot 3008 and 5008 arrive with a sleek and modern look, with a new frameless grille that extends under the headlights, connecting all the elements.

The headlights have also been redesigned and incorporate LED technology from the entry level and add fang-shaped daytime running lights with a chrome edge.
Instead of the traditional fog lights, they are equipped with the “Foggy Mode” function, integrated in the Full LED headlamps, which turns on the dipped beam at low intensity when the rear fog lights are activated.
Behind, the new lights adopt Full LED technology (including reversing light), displaying the identifying 3D claws for a more punchy light signature. The direction lights are progressive.
Inside, the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which incorporates ‘Normally Black’ technology, into the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, is fully configurable and customizable, enabling higher quality images, better reading and greater contrasts.
In addition, the 10-inch touchscreen has a set of seven piano-like keys that guarantee direct and permanent access to the main comfort functions: radio, air conditioning, connected 3D navigation with voice control, vehicle parameters, telephone, mobile applications and vehicle alerts. danger.

At the level of the center console, all thermal engines equipped with an EAT8 automatic transmission are now fitted as standard with a driving mode selector, where the driver opts for Normal, Sport and Eco modes.
In the case of the Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrid versions, the drive mode selector switches between Electric (default at start) / Hybrid / Sport / 4WD (only in the Hybrid4 300hp variant).
In terms of engines, the two new models are equipped with the latest generation of thermal engines.
The petrol engines offer three options to choose from, including a new 1.6 PureTech block, to which is added the 130PS 1.2 PureTech engine with six-speed manual gearbox and 130PS 1.2 PureTech with eight-speed automatic transmission.
Diesel offers three blocks of 4 cylinders: 1.5 BlueHDi 130 CVM6, 1.5 BlueHDi 130 CV EAT8 and 2.0 BlueHDi 2.0 180 CV EAT8, only available on the 5008.
In terms of plug-in hybrid powertrains, Peugeot offers two blocks for the new 3008. The Hybrid 300 hp e-EAT8, with 4-wheel drive and which allows a range of up to 59 km in 100% electric mode.
The Hybrid 225 hp e-EAT8, on the other hand, has 2-wheel drive and a range on a fully electric motorcycle, even up to 56 km.
The Hybrid 4300 e-EAT8 version is the result of the association between a 200 hp (or 147 kW) PureTech engine and two electric motors, one at the front, 110 hp (or 81 kW) coupled to the e-EAT8 automatic transmission, and the second positioned on the rear train, developing 112 hp (or 83 kW).
The 4WD mode, also available in electric mode, allows you to improve motor skills on roads or difficult terrain.
The 225 hp (or 165 kW) Hybrid two-wheel drive version combines a 180 hp (or 132 kW) PureTech engine with a 110 hp (or 80 kW) electric motor, coupled to the e-EAT8 box.
The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 13.2 kWh, and two types of chargers can be used, a single-phase 3.7 kW charger as standard and another 7.4 kW, also single-phase, optional.
