Tunisia
Although the spread of the Coronavirus during the first 8 months of this year remained very limited in Tunisia, the situation has deteriorated considerably in the last few weeks.
About two weeks ago, the country recorded the highest number of infections since the Corona virus outbreak in early 2020. Official statistics show that infections doubled in the first week of October, about 10 times compared to the first week of last September. .
In recent days, Tunisia has recorded more than 1,000 cases per day, while the death rate has increased to more than 40 cases per day.
In the latest figures announced by the Tunisian Ministry of Health, on Sunday and Monday, the country recorded 2,125 new injuries, bringing the total number of injured in the country to 54,278, while the total number of deaths reached 1,153.
Lebanon
Coronavirus infection rates in Lebanon remained under control until early last September, when they began to soar, surpassing the threshold of 1,000 infections per day and 15 deaths per day.
Yesterday Lebanon recorded 1,809 new injuries, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to 73,995, while the total number of deaths reached 590.
Jordan
Corona virus has started to take a dangerous turn in Jordan over the past few weeks, after the number of daily infections did not exceed an average of 10 infections over a period of over 5 months, this rate has increased significantly recently.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 3,800 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 58,155, in addition to 44 new deaths, bringing the total number to 668.
UAE
In the final months of August and September, the number of Coronavirus infections in the UAE dropped sharply, as the daily rate varied between 300 and 400, compared to more than 700 infections per day during the previous period, but these numbers are increased again in the past 15 days to over 1,000 infections per day.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates recorded 1,390 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 127,624, along with two new deaths, bringing the total to 482.
Palestine
Coronavirus infection rates have been very low in Palestine during the first 4 months since the outbreak began, but have increased significantly since last July and are still relatively high compared to the first months.
Yesterday Palestine recorded 576 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total of infections in the country to 63,164, as well as 4 new deaths, bringing the total to 529.
