Dr Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia, attended the ceremony in honor of expatriate women from Arab countries today, which took place at the Tenth of the Ramadan Youth Center. as part of the Spaces Program implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund.
The activities began with the visit of the Minister of Youth and Sport to the exhibition of the center, which includes products, handicrafts and the most important Egyptian and Syrian foods. Subsequently, the minister attended a series of scouting shows presented by members of the center.
In his speech, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi appreciated the importance of the Safe Spaces program and its various humanitarian goals, which is part of the Egyptian government’s enthusiasm to support expats and expats and contain all those seeking refuge in Egypt, and to spread development prospects in various fields for more than one Arab sister country, referring to the ministry’s participation in this matter. Through a package of programs that are implemented throughout the Republic.
The Minister of Youth and Sports said that this program was created in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund in Egypt to support and manage 8 safe spaces within youth centers in five governorates, namely “Sharkia, Qalyubia , Damietta, Aswan and Giza “.
For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia, praised the role of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in supporting various youth activities and sports, emphasizing the importance of the Safe Distances Program and the support it provides to expatriates and to expatriates.
The Minister of Youth and Sports and the Governor of Sharkia honored expatriate women and distributed protective bags against the new Corona virus for Syrian girls and women of different nationalities, organizing the administration for a central project and the youth training of the ministry in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sharkia and the United Nations Population Fund in Egypt.
