The International Space Station (ISS) celebrated an important anniversary during the week. On this occasion Google has prepared a unique virtual tour, thanks to which it is possible to see it in detail from the outside and from the inside.

But first let’s talk more about her. The station celebrated its 20th birthday on November 2nd. However, it is about the moment a person first entered. Since then, the ISS has been continuously inhabited.

As such, however, Earth’s orbit was launched nearly 22 years ago. Since 2010 he holds the record for the continuous life span of the body in space by humans.

The ISS takes 92.9 minutes to orbit the Earth. This means it will make 15.49 detours in one day. For a better idea, astronauts who are right see 15 to 16 sunrises and sunsets per day.

However, the most interesting thing that Google has prepared for us is a 3D computer model of the station. You don’t need a powerful PC to view it, and you can also start it with your smartphone. However, it has been reworked in detail.

But that is not all. You can also look inside the station. The module with the nickname Kupola, in which there are several windows that provide a view of the Earth of about 180 °, has been transformed into a Street View. So you can spend tonight, at least thoughtfully, in space.
