Yesterday, the Ethereum The Foundation added a post on their blog that involved ways in which the platform can use decentralized applications [DApps] to solve problems in the real world. The Ethereum Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and support the Ethereum platform.
The base is based on research, development and education to bring decentralized protocols and tools to the world that enable developers to produce next-generation DApp and, together, create an Internet that is accessible worldwide and freer and more reliable.
The team is trying to learn more about the changes that are already taking place thanks to the Ethereum-based DApps. They are also pushing people with whom they converse, or people who are building applications on Ethereum, with the goal of solving global problems to help them by participating and expressing their opinions in the short survey of the platform.
Ethereum DApps
Undoubtedly, Ethereum is the king of DApp and Smart Contracts, which hosts over 90% of DApp and Smart Contracts worldwide. The platform hosts several excellent DApps included;
- Ethlance, a decentralized market hosted on the Ethereum platform for job posting and freelance recruitment.
- Cryptokitties, an app that allows its users to access digital cats that they can buy, sell or breed. These cats or kittens are called criptocollectibles.
- Aragon, an interesting project on the Ethereum platform that allows users to build and manage organizations known as decentralized autonomous organizations [DAOs]. Aragon allows the management of stronger organizations.
- Prism, a market of the ShapeShift decentralized asset portfolio, through which Ethereum can be invested [ETH] in different cryptocurrencies and specify the percentage of holdings the need.
- Radex, a decentralized exchange at zero cost for Ethereum tokens [ERC 20].
The list is endless. The Ethereum platform is very advanced and considers it a part of their responsibility "Highlight the good faith efforts and the positive works of all those who help" they realize their mission.
