The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, expressed his support for the unity and stability of Sudan during his meeting with President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
Qatari King Emiri Diwan said in a statement that Sheikh Tamim held a talks session with the Sudanese president and discussed the various developments in Sudan.
He said President al-Bashir informed Sheikh Tamim of the latest developments and challenges facing his country.

The meeting also discussed the means to support and develop fraternal relations between the two countries, in addition to regional and international developments.
Many ministers from Qatar attended the meeting, and members of the official delegation accompanying President Bashir took part in the Sudanese side.
