In the last year a number of key metrics have been used which show that the adoption of bitcoins has increased and that the fundamentals of bitcoins are being strengthened. Also the installation of ATM Bitcoin is increasing and, according to data provided by Coin ATM Radar, the number of installations in the last months has increased significantly.
Over 6 Bitcoin ATMs are installed every day
According to data presented by the Coin ATM radar website, which measures the growth of ATM Crypto worldwide, it appears that the demand for Bitcoin ATMs is increasing with a multiplier effect. The data states, that as of 06 January 19
- The total number of cryptographic ATMs worldwide is 4155
- There are 75 countries in the world hosting an encrypted ATM. Most installations are located in the United States (2492 locations), followed by Canada (702 locations), while Austria (267 locations) is in third place
- There are 42 manufacturers worldwide that produce a cryptographic counter
- There are 527 Bitcoin ATM machines worldwide.
Some of the other points treated on the website show in-depth analysis of how the number of Bitcoin ATMs has increased over the years.
An interesting fact that emerges from these data points shows that the first week of 2019 was seen and the addition of 34 already existing ATMs and the speed with which this ATM is installed is currently equal to 6.3 ATM per day.
Among the 42 producers who produce Crypto ATM, the top 3 players include Genesis Coin, whose machines are installed in 1330 locations. This is followed by General Bytes and Lamassu who have cars in 1236 positions and 433 positions respectively.
The following growth has come despite the unfavorable regulatory conditions for ATM encrypted companies. Many companies have not been able to work at full potential for regulatory uncertainty. Very recently, Lamassu, the well-known producer of ATM cryptocurrencies, which assembles its machines in Portugal, announced on 1 January that after years of searching for a home, it is now officially Lamassu Industries AG of Lucerne, in Switzerland due to the more friendly regulation environment.
With awareness and adoption towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is on the rise, CRypto's ATMs would surely have grown in correlation with them. Now everyone has their eyes on regulations around the world that many believe would be favorable to the Crypto ATM sector.
