China’s Tianwen-1 Mars probe had traveled 300 million kilometers into space early Tuesday morning (Beijing time), with all systems working fine, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA).
Since its launch on July 23, the spacecraft has flown into space for 116 days and is currently approximately 63.8 km above earth, CNSA said.
In early November, Tianwen-1 completed the first automatic in-orbit checks of its lander and rover’s multiple systems, all with sonic results.
During its flight, the spacecraft conducted three orbital corrections on August 2, September 20, and October 28, and a deep space maneuver on October 9.
