Neufund, based in Berlin, with a blockchain-based tokenisation platform and an equity investment platform, has already raised € 3m in the middle of its Equity Token Offering, twice the offer soft cap. Between volatile and encrypted markets, most of the capital raised comes in euros from a number of prestigious European investors, including VCs, angels and individuals. The public offering of Neufund's parent company, Fifth Force GmbH, will end on December 16th.

This represents the world's first complete equity offering on Blockchain available to the general public.

Founded in 2016, Neufund established a legally applicable link between an on-chain token and real-world equity, making the offer compliant with German jurisdiction. The company's technology allows virtually any entity incorporated around the world to conduct a public offering on Blockchain.

"Blockchain is not just cryptocurrency: it is, above all, a powerful technology that allows us to build better financial services".

The co-founder and CEO of Neufund, Zoe Adamovicz, explains the company's pioneering technology in the following video:

The offer of stock tokens combines the advantages of a classic VC round, an IPO and an ICO. Issuers can raise funds in ETH and EUR, enable token tradability on secondary markets, easily conduct follow-up fundraising rounds and develop other utility functions that significantly improve investor governance.

Neufund has managed to attract new investors with different backgrounds, including Udo Schloemer (founder and CEO of Factory Berlin), Chris Zippel and Dario Suter, as well as secure investments from existing investors, including Freigeist Capital and Atlantic Labs.

Zoe Adamovicz said: "Neufund's first offering of stock tokens has received tremendous support from the most experienced VC and angel investors in Europe, as well as from entrepreneurs – it is the first time that such a diverse group of investors so easily meets and invests The collection of blockchain-based equity funds offers highly liquid assets with coded functions such as dividend distribution and automated compliance – features that are beneficial for companies and investors Blockchain is not just cryptocurrency: it is, above all, a technology powerful that allows us to build better financial services ".

Michael Jackson, venture capitalist and member of the board of Volvo Cars, AXA Insurance, Blockchain, among others, said: "Neufund is a refreshing wind of changes in traditional VCs and private equity worlds. The digitization of real-world equity into Blockchain-based tokens brings a number of benefits: more liquidity, programmable features, full transparency, automated compliance, just to name a few. "I am thrilled to support Neufund and I truly believe we are on the way to making fundraising much more accessible."
