Gargash said: “The current weakness of the Arab system is urgent, and principled positions that require balanced relations that maintain stability and sovereignty will remain firm.”

Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said on Sunday that the Arab world rejects the violation of its sovereignty and borders by regional countries.

“The strong Arab support for the Egyptian president’s speech on Libya is a clear indication of the refusal of the Arab world to accept its sovereignty and borders by the regional countries,” Gargash said during a tweet on Twitter.

He stressed that: “The current weakness of the Arab system is urgent, and principled positions calling for balanced relations that maintain stability and sovereignty will remain firm”.

And the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates confirmed in a tweet yesterday, Saturday, that Turkey has replaced relations of neighborliness and esteem with an expansion program that sees the Arab world as a strategic space for historical dreams.

Gargash added, during a tweet also on “Twitter”, that “the statement of the former secretary general of the League of Arab States and former Egyptian foreign minister Amr Moussa on the strategic threat to the Arab world has not emerged from the void”.
