It is observed after sunset today, Wednesday 24 June, and at the beginning of the night, one of the characteristic terrains on the surface of the moon, an area called (Mir Chrysium) or “Sea of Adversity” in the sky of the Arab world, and is a opportunity for photography.
According to the Astronomical Society of Jeddah, this area when in a suitable position relative to the observer on the Earth’s surface looks like his smiling face when viewed through the telescope, although in reality it is just a random shape.
This smiling face appears when the area (Mir Chrysium) is in the field of view and sunlight passes over the edge of the mountain illuminating the curved hills that look like the (mouth), and under the two craters representing (the eyes), this scene repeats at the beginning of each lunar month.
