4.5G THE NUMBER OF SUBSCRIBERS WAS ABOUT 75.4 MILLION

The mobile phone penetration rate in the country was calculated as 98.3% as of the second quarter of the year. During this period, the number of mobile subscribers was calculated to be around 81.7 million.

As the country’s communications infrastructure was preparing for 5G, the number of subscribers benefiting from the existing 4.5G service continued to rise.

The average monthly data usage of fixed broadband subscribers was 172.4 gigabytes. The average monthly data usage of mobile broadband subscribers was 8.7 gigabytes. The average data usage per month on 4.5G compatible devices reached 10.3 gigabytes.

In the period under review, the length of the fiber infrastructure reached 404,000 308 kilometers. This figure was 364,000 549 kilometers in the same period last year.
