One of the goals of Forward Sheridan, according to CEO Jay Stender, is to raise awareness of local businesses regarding blockchain technology.
Stated told Sheridan County's legislative delegates that Sheridan has some remarkable blockchain technology gurus in the community.
In a recent interview with Sheridan Media, Stender explained what blockchain is.
He said blockchain is kind of a buzzword, but the technology is growing. Stender said Wyoming's Last year's legislation passed five-month bills specifically related to blockchain and bitcoin currency.
He said he is a blockchain coalition whose goal is to educate Wyoming citizens about the power of blockchain technology, streamline administrative processes and spur new businesses in the state.
Sheridan is the retention and expansion of the existing businesses. He said blockchain technology is another way to achieve that goal.
