Square One and other GTA malls extend hours this weekend before Monday lockout

Several large malls are extending their hours this weekend to curb the expected increase in peak hours before Peel and Toronto return to lockdown on Monday.

Square One will be open for three extended hours from 10am to 9pm in order to “handle an expected increase in visitors” around peak hours from 1pm to 4pm

Yorkdale and Scarborough Town Center extend for another two hours late into the night and will be open from 11am to 9pm

The center of Bramalea will still be open from 11:00 to 7:00

From Monday, it will be forbidden to shop in the store.

Retailers will be open for curbside pickup and drop-off only with exceptions for essentials, including supermarkets, grocery and convenience stores, hardware stores, beer / wine / liquor stores, and drugstores and security stores, which will be open at 50% of capacity.

The restaurants will offer take-out and delivery.
