Samsung’s new monitor is actually a PC-capable smart TV

Samsung announced an all-in-one monitor called the Smart Monitor, hoping to better meet the diverse needs of people at home during the outbreak. Although this product is classified as a monitor, it is essentially a Tizen smart TV with certain PC functions. It has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions, supports DeX wireless and is suitable for AirPlay 2. In other words, when connected to relatively new Apple products, users can easily share multimedia content on the screen.

In addition, Smart Monitor itself provides the functions of viewing, editing and saving files in Office 365 applications without the need to log in to a computer. Since it comes preloaded with the Tizen OS, you can of course use Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube, Hulu and other services according to your preferences or go to the app store to download other apps. According to different specifications, Smart Monitor is divided into three versions. Among them, the model with FHD resolution is M5, available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. Prices are US $ 230 (approximately HK $ 1,780 / NT $ 6,560) and US $ 280 (approximately HK $ 2,170 / NT $ 7,990), which will be released this month merchandise.
