Samsung will almost certainly unveil the new Galaxy S series in January, more than a month earlier than usual, and much earlier the sources and specifications of the new phones whose series production has begun have been found. There will be three models, with the largest having a 6.8-inch screen and a 5,000mAh battery. Samsung has competition from iPhone 12 and Chinese companies such as Xiaomi, OnePlus or OPPO, but the rivalry with Huawei is much more contained, heavily affected in Europe by the bans imposed by the Americans.

There will be three variants: S21 classic (with 6.2-inch screen), S21 + (6.7-inch) and S21 Ultra, with 6.8-inch screen. The small one will have a 4,000 mAh battery, the medium one will have 4,800 mAh, and the processors will be, depending on the market, Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100.

The flagship model S21 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery, on the back there will be four cameras (the main one with 108 MP sensor and two telephoto lenses, 3X and 10X optical zoom). Sources also say that the S21 Ultra can be used with the S-Pen like in Note phones, but the stylus won’t be included in the box and the phone won’t have a dedicated stylus slot. All three will be 5G and the display refresh rate will be 120Hz.

Evaluating the credibility of the rumors, CNET France writes that the probability index is 85% for the new Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 processors found on the phones, it is also 85% for the 120Hz screen. credibility index is 80% for the rumor related to a launch in mid-January and a total of three phones.

Rumors also indicate that the launch will take place on January 14, 2021, and pre-orders could be made from that day, while the first phones will arrive to customers on January 29.

Sources also say that the S21 Ultra will be available in two color versions, under the trade names Phantom Black and Phantom Silver, while the S21 Galaxy will be available in three variants (Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, Phantom Violet). There will be four variations of the classic S21 model (Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gray and Phantom White). Prices will start at around 3,000 lei, but some sources say it could be lower than the launch of the S20.
