It has been established in our awareness and in our hearts that every inch of this Arab world belongs to each of us and belongs to him. You don’t need poetry to know that the Arab world is your home; Go to any Arab city or contact an Arab citizen and you will find that there is no difference; No valleys with the bridge.
Both and what Arabic is spoken for you. Our simple people did not teach us the sect and a different religion. If we know, please let us know about the diversity of our civilization and the richness of its proud colors. But other decades have always pushed to highlight differences and fabricate differences, from country, to sect, to city and to tribe. And among us there are those who watch and suffer, and cannot escape the overwhelming love for the great nation that is torn apart by its people before others.
Finally Beirut, which is recovering from the sectarian war, and from the occupation of the permanent enemy, whose visions have clouded it a little to the point that they call it to embrace it. Beirut, which ceaselessly complains about the internal weight of sectarianism and the war of Arab and regional interests, was hit and bled its people the day before yesterday. Salamat O Beirut!
Salamat Or Damascus; O Baghdad; Oh Aden and Sana’a, Oh Tripoli and Jerusalem, and all the Arab cities literally destroyed and struggling to survive. Salamat, or other cities that live in continuous and undeclared war, and where their inhabitants struggle against oppression, silence and the bleeding of dignity and the feeling of heavy feet as the world runs and rises as we walk around . Salamat, or great country, from which no part will arise until its sickest part.
All other nations hide differences, point to commonalities, and seek difficulties with their national identities – not out of emotional or historical fanaticism, but as an existential necessity in a world ruled by competition. The idea is not to embrace aggression and bullying in the league, but to defend yourself, your skills and what needs to be defended. When the powers are equal, the possibility of aggression diminishes and the voice of rationality is heard about the urgency of greed and the temptation to plunder the part of others.
But nobody listened. “Individual salvation” has become the predominant religion in our country. Rather, this salvation has come to mean drowning others in your neighborhood, city, and country, not to mention the neighboring country and its people. There is nothing wrong with hiring gangs, mercenaries and extremists and mobilizing sectarianism, delving into Qatar and erasing any color other than yours. The result: no escape, no color, no humanity, no emotion. And the homeland of the Arabs, from the ocean to the Gulf, is helplessness, fear and clinging to the tails of strangers. And when you look at it, even from a small oasis, you will see the wreckage of capitals and doors all around you and the collapse of history, civilization, culture and identity. Whether you are in a tent or a palace, you are underdeveloped and eligible for whomever you want.
Any realistic description of the conditions in the great Arab world will bring no hope. This past decade has been particularly tough. After the physical destruction of Baghdad at the turn of the century, the physical destruction of Arab metropolises continued into the second decade, especially the oldest in history and the most beautiful with Arabian features and Arabian hospitality. And it all started with the loss of Palestine, which carved a hideous scar on the Arabs’ foreheads, distorted the scene and ruined the psyche. It takes effort to find the link. And whoever wants proof that there is no salvation for anyone without expanding the project and belonging, look under his feet, to his right or to his left.
On Beirut’s wounds, the prevailing theory is that the disaster is the result of neglect, caused mainly by sectarian quotas and corruption under the slogan of loyalty to small identities. Or it is the result, in a sense, of the fact that Lebanon is still resisting the great project of submission. Since the “Arab Spring” at the beginning of the decade, local and external demons have come together to destroy every human being, stone and hope, especially putting the lines under religious, sectarian and tribal identities until the region has transformed. in a great battlefield, directly or by proxy, and its people and outsiders. Nobody, not even those who sit on chairs, has won at the price of Arab blood and at the feet of their own dignity and dignity altogether.
Beirut, Jerusalem, Baghdad, Damascus or Aden and every Arab place in its name, parts of our being destroyed. We have nothing but sadness, a lot of love and a desire for security.
