"We intend to allow 24-48 hours of transfers via Pro / Prime before opening the markets In accordance with our Trading Rules, all ETC books will be opened in post-only for a minimum of 10 minutes. sufficient, the trading will be activated on Pro and Prime ", explained the company.
The Coinbase customer service will add the resource "only after they have been listed on Coinbase Pro and Prime," added the post, continuing:
"We intend to add ETC support to Coinbase Consumer when sufficient liquidity is established, and we expect it to occur approximately 1-2 weeks after the start of trading on Pro and Prime."
In addition, while customers of Coinbase Prime and Coinbase Pro holding ethereum before the 2016 budget will receive credit for classic ethereum, retail customers will not, since ethereum has not been supported until after the fork.
Coinbase announced that it has added ethereum classic in June, stating that the selection was consistent with its Digital Asset Framework. At the moment, the listing announcement pushed the token price by 25% in 30 minutes to just over $ 16.
At press time, the token was trading at $ 17.72, according to the CoinDesk Market Center.
