An employee of the Shoppers Drug Mart in Richmond tested positive for COVID-19.
Loblaws Inc., the chain’s parent company, announced on its website that an employee of the Shoppers at Richmond Center, 6060 Minoru Blvd., has tested positive for the virus.
The last day the employee worked was November 7, according to the company.
“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their lead to ensure proper notification of close contacts and the necessary cleaning and sanitation in our stores,” Loblaws said on his website.
