Premium Airline Surfair now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin for their fundraising campaign

Surfair, a new semi-private airline, has announced that it will accept Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin (BTC) for their ongoing Indiegogo fundraising campaign. Surfair, which calls itself "the best alternative to commercial air travel", is a company that offers an airline experience between commercial airliners and private jets.

Intended for frequent commuters, their small jets provide the goal of providing a luxury experience that is a stress-free alternative to major airlines. Members must present themselves only 15 minutes before departure, and if the flyers show up early, they can spend their time in the private Surfair club before boarding. Members will also receive discounts on hotels and on-demand concierge services.

At present, Surfair aircraft operate only in California and Texas, but their network will expand soon. Destinations planned outside these pilot states include Scottsdale, AZ and New Orleans, LA.

Their Indiegogo campaign has already raised a total of $ 81,680 – 63% more than their initial target of $ 50,000. The campaign is open for another six days and 1% of the funds raised by this campaign will go to charity supporting clean water initiatives.

Early supporters receive discounts up to 93% on the regular price for their subscription packages. Once the subscription has been purchased, members can purchase flights at flat rates without having to ask if seats are available or flights are overbooked. At the high end, a contribution of $ 3,850 will give you a three-year subscription with ten flights included. You can only pay $ 250 and you will receive a subscription for one year.
