A source from the Egyptian traffic police said the "Arab League" road will be closed in Cairo's engineering area, in part for 3 years due to excavation work to establish a subway station, according to media reports.

The source stressed that the station will be established at the Arab League within the third subway line with the strengthening of the region with all necessary equipment and signals and promoting the dissemination of traffic services to monitor the movement of cars.

He said the closure will be between the streets of "Shehab" and "Syria" with some traffic transfers from the traffic department before the closure process to prevent the occurrence of traffic jams during peak hours during the day and monitor the movement of camera machines.
