The classic arcade Pac-Man has finally arrived on blockchain thanks to NEM (XEM), a cryptocurrency project that builds a network designed for intelligent resources with better performance.
The game, cleverly titled PacNEM, is a free and open-source Node.js browser game that uses NEM Blockchain to authenticate players, store game credits and keep track of the all-time scores.

"This game will reflect how easy it is to use NEM in the business levels of applications or games and will highlight the ease of installation for sponsorship software and advertising in the gaming industry using NEM Blockchain and Instant Payments," reads PacNEM introduction.
To get started, players only need to enter a username and an XEM address to charge a nominal amount in a pay-per-play format, similar to what was commonly done with quarters in the arcades of the past.
