Exolaunch will provide launch, mission management, integration and distribution services for the two Omnispace satellites, scheduled for launch in 2022.
Omnispace, the company that is reinventing mobile communications by building a global hybrid network, has signed a launch agreement with Exolaunch, the rideshare launch and distribution service provider. Exolaunch will put two satellites built by Thales Alenia Space into orbit aboard SpaceX’s rideshare missions.
Exolaunch will provide launch, mission management, integration and distribution services for the two Omnispace satellites, scheduled for launch in 2022.
Omnispace combines the global footprint of a constellation of non-geostationary orbiting satellites with the world’s leading mobile wireless networks into a seamless “global network”. The network will support the 3GPP (Third-Generation Partnership Project) and 5G telecommunication standards with the satellite component operating in the S-band. The company aims to set new standards for global connectivity solutions for Internet of Things markets ( IoT), mobile satellites and mobile broadband.
