There are 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, bringing the total number of active cases in the province to 125.
A press release said nine of the new cases were in the central health zone and one in the western zone. But a later release claimed all cases were in the central area.
Nova Scotia labs completed 2,254 tests on Saturday.
A further 540 tests were administered at a rapid test site in Dartmouth. A positive case was detected and the person was ordered to self-isolate and undergo a standard test.
Nobody is in hospital in Nova Scotia due to the virus.
The province’s case data website hasn’t been updated since November 26. A press release said it was due to a technical problem.
The province announced five new exhibition sites on Saturday, including businesses in Sydney and Truro.

Premier Stephen McNeil has urged people in the Halifax area to follow the latest guidelines.
“Following the new restrictions in the greater Halifax area, we are working together to contain the spread of the virus,” he said in a news release.
New restrictions in effect
New restrictions went into effect Thursday in most of Halifax Regional Municipality and parts of Hants County.
The restrictions include the interruption of food service at bars and restaurants and the closure of gyms, libraries, museums and casinos for at least the next two weeks. Masks are also mandatory in common areas of multi-unit homes such as apartments and condominiums.

Throughout the province, visits to long-term care facilities are no longer permitted unless the person is a designated volunteer or caregiver.
All other Atlantic provinces, most recently New Brunswick, have reinstated mandatory 14-day self-isolation for travelers. But as of Thursday night, Nova Scotia’s policy on regional travel has remained unchanged.

- Temperature.
- Cough or worsening of a previous cough.
Anyone who has two or more of the following symptoms is also encouraged to visit the website or call 811:
- Burning throat.
- Headache.
- Shortness of breath.
- Rhinorrhea.
