Through the Instagram account @infobmkg, BMKG claimed that GBP on November 30th can be seen all over Indonesia. However, observers west of the peak line will not observe the peak of the Penumbra lunar eclipse.
This is because the moon was still below the horizon when the GBP happened. So that he can only observe the process of the Penumbra lunar eclipse from the moment the moon rises until the end of the eclipse.

While observers who are east of the Peak line will be able to observe the process of a lunar eclipse from the moment the moon rises, the peak, to the end of the eclipse.
This natural phenomenon of the Penumbra lunar eclipse will last for more than 4 hours. BMKG said, GBP will start occurring at 16.32 WIT to 20.53 WIT or 18.32 WIB – 22.53 WIB. The peak of the Penumbra lunar eclipse is expected to occur at 18.42 WIT or 20.42 WIT.
A Penumbra lunar eclipse occurs when the moon-sun-earth position is not exactly aligned. This causes the moon to only enter the shadow of the Earth’s penumbra. As a result, the moon will appear dimmer than when it is full.
