Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there was a major shift in Arab states’ attitudes towards Israel, noting that many saw Israel as an enemy of Arab countries.

On Monday evening, during an interview with “Sky News Arabia”, he added that “the situation has changed”, adding: “They see him as an ally and a partner in achieving peace and prosperity”.

He stressed that the occupation state and Arab countries face many common challenges, such as extremism, saying that the agreement signed between his country and the UAE makes the possibilities between the two countries unlimited.

He expressed confidence that the UAE would not be the last to make peace with Israel, adding: “I think calm at work is preferred.”

Last Thursday, US President Donald Trump released a tripartite statement, after a call involving Netanyahu and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, in which an agreement was announced on a full normalization of relations between Israel and United Arab Emirates and on the Israeli suspension of the plan to annex West Bank lands.
