Nest Audio can be used with Chromecast to become a home theater speaker

Like its competitors Amazon and Apple, Google may soon be adding the functionality of a home theater sound system to its speakers. In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, it was mentioned that Google confirmed that after Nest Audio is updated to a new firmware version in the future, it can be used with Chromecast to become an output home theater speaker. Specific details haven’t been released yet, but I don’t think there’s much of a difference between the Echo and HomePod.

Other than Nest Audio, it’s unclear whether Google’s older products can get the same treatment. Although in terms of sound quality, many smart speakers may not be able to provide good home theater effects, but the official is willing to do this feature, everyone is always happy to see it.
