The Tribune, now published by Chandigarh, began publication on February 2, 1881 in Lahore (now Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-minded philanthropist, and is run by a trust made up of five prominent people as administrators.
The Tribune, the best-selling British newspaper in North India, publishes news and opinions without prejudice or prejudice of any kind. The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
