The idea was born on Twitter when the French adventurer Philippe Croizon contacted the CEO with a tweet saying: “… Send me into space to prove once again that anything is possible! “

Croizon also included photos of him skydiving, scuba diving, racing car driving, and swimming. Really an adventurer! Musk seemed excited by Croizon’s suggestion that he replied: “Someday we’ll fly you to Starship.” Does this mean that Musk is planning to send Croizon to Mars or would a short trip to the International Space Station be enough?

A true hero

Whatever Musk’s plans for Croizon are, one thing is certain, the French adventurer will be ready to face them. A quick Google search on the athlete reveals an impressive resume. Croizon is the first quadruple amputee to swim across the English Channel and run the Dakar Rally.

Croizon had to have his limbs amputated after a serious accident in March 1994, where he suffered an electric shock. The doctors had to remove both her arms and legs at the beginning remained desperate.

However, after seeing a television interview with a swimmer on the channel, he was inspired to follow in his footsteps. With the help of some prosthetics and some very arduous training, Croizon has finally achieved his goal.

He also wrote a book and invented a parachute jump. It seems that nothing can stop this intrepid adventurer. Will space be its next frontier?
