Meet the Mastermind Behind Ethereum! – BlockPublisher

The signs of his genius can be traced back to the beginning of his life. The brain behind Ethereum and a child prodigy is none other than Vitalik Buterin. He was born on January 31, 1994, in a city of Kolomna, Moscow Oblast, Russia. But then around 6 years he moved to Canada with his family.

He realized his potential when he was quite young. He began to see that he was gifted when it came to math and programming, possessed an early and strong interest in economics, and could add a three-digit number in his head twice as fast as an average human being of his age.

His special set of abilities and brains above average made him sickening like most of the time he just wanted to adapt to the crowd and not feel like a perfect stranger. The struggles have made him more reserved and he has deeply immersed himself in the learning process and on the Internet, where he has forged most of his professional and personal relationships. Does it look very much like a stereotyped nerd boy, amirite?

As he moved further away from social interactions, he spent most of his time on the Internet or on World of Warcraft. Which soon made him realize how centralized the whole system was and its negative effects. So much so that he decided never to play again.

The period when his life took a turn was when he joined the Aberald School – in stark contrast to the life of Erik Finman where he became a millionaire out of hatred for the educational system, the private school Vitalik struck him more and in a positive way.

A beginning of something manic

Vitalik was introduced to Bitcoin by his father, also an IT engineer. He also sold his company to focus on blockchain technology. The decentralized aspect of innovation is what attracted him the most and started to develop an interest.

The smart boy had bad social skills but he knew how to make a deal. Although it was not far behind then; he had the foresight to see what was coming. He started working for Bitcoin and started writing articles for them, asking them to pay him 5 Bitcoins per article. I think I should also agree with my boss. * intriguing hands *

So at the end of 2011, Vitalik started his Bitcoin Magazine with a novelist, Mihai Alisie. It was and still is the largest online media on cryptocurrencies. He began to juggle the university and a part-time publisher and research assistant.

Another dropout

I really do not understand why all smart people choose to leave and then end up becoming successful people. I do not want this kind of motivation for everyone !!

In any case, Vitalik did the same and started working with different cryptocurrencies to test everything. Flying around the world and feeling very inspired.

While he was in Israel, he met two people who were trying to get something similar, but the difference was that they were trying to build it on Bitcoin, but Vitalik was thinking about the future. He decided to create a new currency whose purpose would be to promote development platforms for cryptocurrencies, smart contracts and tokens.

Faced with the refusal from its first launch to two Israeli companies; he decided to take the situation into his own hands and this was how Ethereum was born.

Say hello to Ethereum!

By the end of 2013, Vitalik published a white paper explaining the premise of Ethereum. After this idea succeeded, he and his team moved to Zug in Switzerland, which later became known as the Crypto Valley.

In 2014, Ethereum collected about 31,000 bitcoins during its ICO and at the time amounted to $ 18.3 million. This made the third largest increase in ICO worldwide.

A learning process

Now the years had begun when the team was trying to build the first prototype. After much effort, the last prototype called Olympic has won and is technologically the closest to what we know today as Ethereum.

Vitalik played well and instead of delaying the launch because he had numerous bugs, he decided to move on and announced that he would award an Ether or more if they could identify the bug.

On July 30, 2015, Ethereum was officially launched. And then again in 2016 – March 14, 2016 – Ethereum has released an update that was later considered its official launch.

Ethereum – now.

Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency in the present time. It is used by thousands of applications, both developers and companies all over the world.

Vitalik definitely gave us something that has not yet reached its full potential. Thanks to its exceptional intelligence and beliefs about cryptocurrency, the playing field has changed.
