Colfondos explained in a statement that Marcela Giraldo is an industrial engineer from the University of Los Andes and has an MBA from Georgetown University. For the past few years he has been VP and CEO of Scotia Crecer and General Manager of Scotia GBS in the Dominican Republic.
In the period from October 2014 to January 2018 she was connected to Colfondos, leading various areas such as the Vice Presidency of Marketing, Channels and Customer Service.
Commenting on his appointment, León Fernández de Castro, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Colfondos, stated that “We are very happy to be able to rely again on the experience and knowledge of Marcela Giraldo to guide the new phase facing the company, hand in the hand with a new shareholder, the Habitat Group, whose headquarters are in Chile.
