WINNIPEG – Lottery products have been deemed “non-essential” under new public health orders in the province, meaning Manitobans will not be able to purchase or validate their lottery tickets in person.
Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries and Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) will suspend lottery terminals in the province on Friday evening. The terminals will be suspended across the province with the exception of some retail businesses in northern Manitoba.
This suspension includes Scratch and Win tickets, Sport Select match tickets and draw matches, including:

Max Lot;

Lot 6/49;

Daily Grand;
-
Western 649;
-
Western Max;
-
Choose 2, Choose 3, Choose 4 and Extra;

Keno; is
-
Lotto Poker / All In.
The companies said Manitobans will still be able to participate in some games based on the raffle through “non-retail channels” such as the WCLC subscription service or Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries’ PlayNow.com website.
“At this time, players are advised to keep their smaller winning tickets, if possible, until retail redemption is available again,” the companies said.
“Larger prizes can be requested in the mail during major COVID-19 restrictions in the province, while the WCLC Prize Paying Office in Winnipeg also remains closed to the public.”
