Today, the ranks of the cryptocurrency market have moved again with the famous acquisition of Ethereum [ETH] of XRP, Bitcoin Cash [BCH] of Stellar [XLM] and many others throughout the year. Now, it's Litecoin [LTC] whose market capitalization was surpassed by the most stable currency, Tether [USDT] after XLM has competed LTC at the start of this year.
The change took place mainly because the previous seventh largest currency, Litecoin, suffered a sharp decline in its market capitalization, pushing it by one point.
During the day, the market capitalization of the currency reached a maximum of $ 1.9 billion, but saw a gradual worsening of over one million dollars to fall to 1.7 billion dollars. At the time of writing, Litecoin is trading at a depreciated price of $ 30.4 with a market capitalization of $ 1.81 billion. The 24-hour trading volume was recorded at $ 389.8 million.
As for Tether, the stable currency has not seen many changes in its figures and owes its victory only to Litecoin. At the start of the 24-hour cycle, the token was trading at $ 0.9 with a market capitalization of $ 1.84. Since then, the USDT has formed fluctuating schemes in the price table.
At the time of printing, the cryptocurrency was trading at $ 1 with a market capitalization of $ 1.85 billion. In the last 24 hours, it has seen growth of just 0.14% where the total volume of trade has been recorded at $ 2.75 billion.
