Litecoin sought to expand its reach and ultimately received a tremendous adoption, with the latter being used as an integral part of the Coindriod game. The cryptocurrency game has raised a lot of eyebrows in the crypto-community thanks to its creativity and the adoption of various in-game cryptocurrencies like Litecoin [LTC], Dogecoin [DGC] and Bitcoin [BTC].
The creator of Coindroid Josh, in a podcast, said he was inspired by SatoshiDice, a Bitcoin game, and decided to develop a game like SatoshiDice, but taking it further and making it based on skills.
He said they were looking for a lot of cryptocurrencies that fit the ideas they had for the game. He continued:
"Litecoin seemed to me natural coupling, it has a good blocking time, big expenses, it makes a lot of sense for our game in our coin droids, and the transactions in the game are around 13 – 14 cents, so do it inside Bitcoin it makes no sense for the commissions perspective, but even the 10 minute blocks end up being a bit too slow for the game "
In a clash between Roger Ver, Jihan Wu and Craig Wright on the BCH fork, Charlie Lee weighed in support of the latter saying:
"Bitcoin Satoshi Vision is the real Cash Bitcoin, Karma is a BCH"
Litecoin is gaining traction as it is used for payments at various restaurants in the United States. Also, a place called Sendai Sushi accepts payments in Litecoin.
Lite.IM is a project launched by Zulu to enable payments via SMS. With Lite.IM Litecoin transactions can be performed via Facebook Messenger. The integration of Lite.IM allows the access to the cryptocurrency over 2 billion people on Facebook.
