Litecoin.com has created a new look for itself by launching a redesigned website on Wednesday. Until a few days ago, the site was entirely commercial, with a corporate skyline that headed the page. Now the site has a more friendly appearance, with polaroids of crypts personality in front of some green leaf. The company had this to say about the review:
"Design has taken a much cleaner, flatlay and minimalist approach, since Litecoin.com is more a canvas for content, so the structure was very important when considering future growth and announcements to the site. "
This means that the site will separate content by category and audience and will target individuals, businesses and developers separately. For example, people will be presented with portfolios and ways to buy Litecoin, while businesses will be presented with point-of-sale tools and payment processing services.
The site has, so far, added news and sponsored content. Will soon add an exchange (thanks to a partnership with Simplex), a page for developers and translations in foreign languages

No changes to Litecoin
It is in particular that Litecoin.com is changing and the revision does not deliberately coincide with any changes that the currency itself could suffer. Although there is a substantial overlap between the developers of Litecoin, Litecoin.com and the Litecoin Foundation, the three are not the same, as the ad notes:
"The site now supports sponsored content curated, this will provide a source of income and allow us to grow the site to further support and finance the development of Litecoin, the Litecoin Foundation is a separate non-profit entity based in Singapore. "
Litecoin.com is naturally one of the first places where people will go to find on Litecoin. Although Litecoin's changes will certainly be beneficial to the image of money, the site maintainers' decisions should not be confused with those of the developers and the currency community.
