Litecoin announces the basic update publicly

Litecoin Core 0.16.2 has just been released, according to an official announcement on their blog website, on September 8, 2018.

Litecoin Core is currently the implementation of the most popular complete node of the Litecoin digital currency (LTC). The Core, thanks to its open source function, is open to volunteers and qualified personnel interested in the development of Core. Interested volunteers can join Core by reaching and proposing improvements to the basic code. The new version is based on this premise, with a team of about 19 volunteers.

The instruction warns that the previous portfolios created in version 0.16 and in later versions will not be compatible with versions prior to 0.16 and would not work if newly created portfolios are used in previous versions and previous.
