Italy has set up a group that will recommend integrating blockchain and other technologies into government operations.
About 30 blockchain experts were recruited to consult the project, advising the authorities on the best way to implement a national strategy on blockchain. The project was convened by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MSE).
The working group includes the commercial association co-founder of Assobit, Gian Luca Comandini, Italtel, head of the marketing portfolio, Angiolini Giorgio and Blockchain & Society Policy Lab, member of the board of directors Marcella Atzori.
Italy is among the countries of the European Union that have agreed to promote the adaptation of blockchain technology in the coming years.
