Kamloops Home Hardware employees test positive for COVID-19

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops Home Hardware and Building Center on Jesop Way and Halston Avenue closed its doors voluntarily after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In a press release, store officials say one employee was the last one in the store on Thursday, Nov.5. The other was the last in store on Saturday 7th November. They received the test results in the last two days (November 10 and November 11).

The shop will be fully disinfected today (November 11). Officials say they are committed to the health and safety of employees and customers. He says he will continue to follow the health and safety guidance of the BC Ministry of Health and Health of the Interior.

Anyone who visited the store on November 5th or November 7th should monitor their COVID-19 symptoms themselves. Interior Health identifies the most common symptoms as:
