Ivanka Trump says we “will go to the moon and Mars” after the launch of NASA

Ivanka Trump has again felt the contempt of the internet after praising the successful launch of SpaceX and Nasa on Sunday.

The Falcon 9 rocket took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying the SpaceX Dragon capsule on a manned mission to the International Space Station, a destination it has since reached.

While praising the successful launch, Ivanka tweeted “We will soon go to the moon and then to Mars,” adding that her father, President Trump, “dreams big and aims for the stars.”

There’s not much wrong with that, as the current White House staff member and daughter of the president has every right to promote great things that are happening in the United States.

However, we should keep in mind that this is Ivanka Trump and when she says “we are going to the Moon and Mars”, people tend to take her seriously.

She was soon overwhelmed with messages telling her and her family not to return from space, which would have seemed wishful thinking.

Others have criticized it for giving the impression that it takes credit for the result, which should go to NASA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX team and was put in place long before Trump arrived at the White House.
