The mixer gets more monetization options
The update to the Microsoft Mixer streaming service is to be unrolled. This includes new ways for players to monetize their video streams.
For example, the Skill feature adds the ability to send stickers and animated effects to the service. And whenever a view uses a partner's channel skills, a small financial benefit will be given to the streamer.
Sparks is a way to provide financial support to streamers without having to access bank accounts. Sparks can be earned by watching the streams, spending them in Skill and helping the streamer partners reach goals that give them real money.
