The Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of permanent representatives, held an extraordinary session on Tuesday, presided over by the Republic of Sudan, to discuss the situation in the Palestinian territories.
The statement said that the meeting discussed what he called "Israeli crimes, assaults and raids against the Palestinian people, land and property". The attacks targeted Palestinian civilians and residential buildings, killing dozens of people and injuring them.
The Council discussed the political developments of the Palestinian cause and condemned what he called "war crimes and crimes against humanity under international humanitarian law, international human rights law and international charters".
The statement led to the Israeli government full legal and criminal responsibility for what he called "Israeli crimes", expressing full support for the Palestinian people.
The Arab League has asked the Security Council to assume its responsibilities in maintaining international peace and security and pressure on Israel, in addition to the UN request for the implementation of the resolution of the General Assembly of Nations United on the protection of Palestinian civilians.
The statement affirmed its support for the "legitimate struggle" of the Palestinian people, their right to resist the occupation, and calls on the Arab Parliament and the national parliament to take effective positions against employment and to guarantee the protection of Palestinian civilians.
