It is a project to create synergy by adding the technology and business capabilities of each company.

The main areas of activity for cooperation include △ Cooperation between content / service enterprises △ Creating synergies for mobility services △ Developing winning models for SMEs. Naver develops a service that allows users to enjoy various content of their own through Hyundai-Kia Motors’ infotainment system. By linking the Hyundai-Kia digital key and the Naver ID, you can also conveniently use the charging, collection and delivery of electric vehicles and car wash services.

The two companies announced that they will actively cooperate in the medium and long term, focusing on promising areas of future mobility such as connected cars, green vehicles and purpose-based mobility (PBV).

Young-jo Ji, president of Hyundai Motor Group’s strategic technology division, said, “Through the combination of automobiles and ICT, we plan to enhance new mobility so that customers can actually experience and innovate the customer experience during the use of mobility services “.

Naver CEO Han Seong-suk said, “The mobility industry is a field that can bring many changes to various types of users. We will create possibilities through various mobility innovation experiments with Hyundai Motor Group.”
