NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / 21 December 2018 / With the blockchain market now entering a new phase in which business applications are being viewed, the great demand remains; how will the problem of scalability be solved?
High Performance Blockchain (HPB), is making an offer to be the next step in blockchain technology with its unique hardware launch solution in the mix. Announcing recently that their public chain has reached 5,000 TPS, they are ahead of other popular public chains such as Tron stands at 2,000 and EOS at 4,000. The Blockchain Offload Engine (BOE) of HPB is said to be a significant factor in reaching their number. This announcement came just three months after the launch of their MainNet.
(HPB announced its TPS last Friday, 21 December 2018)
The HPB nodes network is currently managed by 150 BOE nodes. By the nature of blockchain technology, a high global number of nodes offers greater security, irreversibility and adheres to the central vision of blockchain technology. Despite having a large number of nodes all over the world, HPB's TPS results of over 5,000 outperformed projects work on significantly fewer nodes.
BOE is a hardware chipset, designed by HPB to download a large portion of the workload on the hardware of a traditional server. It also includes security features such as a random number generator and handles all incoming and outgoing communications with the network.
The consent mechanism of HPB is built from scratch. Called Proof-of-Performance (PoP), the mechanism uses dynamic factors such as server performance, network bandwidth, and received votes in the selection of who produces the next blocks.
The industry is currently examining many public chains that are struggling to become the main solution to business needs. Public chains have a diversified product offering, from Blockchain-as-a-Service, and offer a platform on which DApp can develop. The key to their success, however, is if they are scalable, enable real-world applications or advance technology in their own way.
