Japanese gaming peripheral manufacturer HORI has partnered with the next generation console “PlayStation 5 (PS5)” which will be launched in Japan on 12 November. It can be fully compatible.

According to HORI’s official “PS5 Confirmed Product List” web page, products in two categories, “Headphone Microphone” and “Large Game Joystick”, are fully compatible on PS5 consoles and support PS5 and PS4 games. The special part of the controller is fully compatible with the steering wheel controller and the flight stick controller. Although the keyboard and mouse controllers are compatible with Taiko controllers, they can only be used in PS4 games.

Handle-type controllers are generally compatible, but can only be used to play PS4 games. Others like laptop screens, USB microphones, and HDMI cables are PS5 compatible (but HDMI cables don’t support HDMI 2.1). The controller charging stand and Micro USB charging cable are used for DS4 wireless controllers, so while they are compatible, they can only be used on PS4 peripherals. The only confirmed incompatibility is the PS4 Media Remote.
