Hong Nam-ki “Extension until next June, including tax support for good tenants”

The tax credit period for so-called “good landowners” will be extended until next June.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki and the Minister of Strategy and Finance made this statement today (12) at the 19th Emergency Economic Countermeasures Headquarters Meeting held at the Seoul Government Complex.

Along with this, financial support is also being expanded to include lessors who have reduced their rent to a certain level in the fund support objective of the Small Business Policy.

In addition, the deadline for the reduction or exemption of the rent for state-owned properties and owned by public bodies is extended until June next year for small business owners.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong added: “If local governments look for multifaceted support measures adapted to local conditions, such as certification of good landowners, the central government will also look into tax support for special grants based on local efforts.”
