Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The UAE tops the list of Arab countries in the 2020 Global Competitiveness Report, published by the Center for Global Competitiveness of the Institute for Administrative Development, which is published annually and ranks global economies and their ability to thrive.
The UAE ranked ninth in the world, being the only Arab country in the top 10 countries in global rankings.
Singapore ranked first in the world on the global competitiveness list for this year for the second consecutive year, followed by Denmark in second and then Switzerland in third.
Among the Arab countries, Qatar followed the UAE to come second on the list of Arab countries and 14th on the global list, and then Saudi Arabia was ranked third in the Arab world and 24 globally.
